Each team collaborates on a quest to remotely solve a series of logic puzzles as they travel through an imaginary world. Can they work out how to cross the bridge to escape from the zombies, or breakout from the castle dungeon by guessing the correct door?
This activity may be done as a standalone session with teams solving a number of riddles following one storyline, finishing one problem before moving onto the nest. Or, we often use one puzzle as a an option in our online with fun program.
Each puzzle takes between 10 and 20 minutes on average, although quick thinking teams may solve one in record time of course! Up to 6 individual puzzles may be put together in a longer session to last up to 2 hours, with each puzzle leading onto the next one in a brain-storming escape adventure!

This event is staged online using either Zoom or MS Teams
- TED Puzzles program length can be customized between 30 mins to 2 hours
- Zoom or Teams links will be sent prior to the event day
It may be played in a competitive format or just to have fun, however it’s sure to give your team an exciting experience they will not forget. Alternative scoring criteria e.g. best team communicator, MVP or best leader can also be awarded if needed.
- Briefing takes place in the main room and includes a short tutorial for how to use Zoom or Teams
- Debrief takes place in the main conference room where the winning team will be announced and takes about 15 minutes
- Debrief usually take around 15 minutes each but can be extended upon request for more in-depth analysis of team performanc
TED puzzles are introduced with a video explaining the problem, and a handout for the teams to describe the rules and the conditions.
Teams are separated into smaller groups to work on each problem, usually in competition with the other teams to see who can be the first to solve them all!

08.50 am – Room open
09.00 am – Introduction and logistics by lead facilitator
09.05 am – Ice breakers and warm up activities
09.15 am – Event brief by lead facilitator
09.20 am – Optional distribution of teams into breakout rooms
09.20 am – Teams play series of games
10.50 am – Reconvene in the main room if using breakout rooms
10.50 am – Event de-brief, awarding ceremony
11.00 am – End of the program
