Event Objective
These events were held to celebrate the 30th yearly anniversary of Microsoft itself.
At the start of each event the group played a series of online warm up games to set the mood for fun and games. All warm up games are designed to get people speaking, moving and ready for the main events.
The first day saw the group split into teams to tackle the Virtual Amazing Race. Travelling the world via our game interface, teams completed a variety of team challenges in order to get the special code to move on to the next location. The second day was dedicated to a Virtual Treasure Hunt which saw teams following in the footsteps of a famous archaeologist in the pursuit of an ancient relic, solving tricky puzzles and riddles as they went. The final day was a Sci Fi themed Virtual Escape room and the trickiest of all three challenges. Only by using the tools at hand and constant communication can teams successfully escape. Fortunately after three days most teams had this down to a science and the majority of teams escaped.
