Winning! In this high-stakes event, teams receive a set amount of tokens and play a series of casino royale games to increase their profits and see which team can come out on top. Fancy dress is encouraged to help make the experience more like 007! This activity is well suited as a dinner accompaniment and pairs well with our Cocktail Shakers program. Despite the fact that this activity doesn’t offer real money gambling, it will give a lot of positive experiences for successful team building.
- Planning, communication and organization skills
- To improve cooperation as a team
- Having a fun and enjoyable time with colleagues
- Getting to know your team colleagues better
Participants are split into teams and receive a budget in casino chips to go through a series of casino games like blind roulette, blackjack, and giant craps to multiply their bets. Playing tokens can be used to exchange with gifts, as if participants win real money. This can also be themed for a true Casino Royale experience, for example, as a James Bond spy party. Perfect in combination with Cocktail Shakers. Props, costumes, and themed decoration may also be included to enhance the experience for the participants.
Casino-style games include poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette with some wild and bonus fortune wheel and other exciting features. Stand-alone challenges, which we refer to as “horse races,” will pit two participants against each other in silly competitions, and teams may place bets on their “winning horse” as they choose. Silly competitions include holding your breath, eating crackers the fastest, reciting the alphabet backward without mistakes, etc.
The location for the event is usually at the client’s hotel, own office space, cocktail lounge or restaurant.
Scoring is based on the amount of chips each team has at the end of the activity. The team with the most chips will be declared the winner.
Insurance and instructor supervision are important safety factors with any event, and in the event of an emergency, transport and medical backup will be standing by.
The event briefing takes place at the activity location or the client’s hotel meeting room or lobby. In the briefing the group is separated into teams and introduced to the facilitators, then the lead facilitator gives an introduction of the event including instructions and objectives for the activity.
In the de-brief the lead facilitator goes through the event challenges and asks each team questions to assess their own performance before announcing and awarding the winning team if applicable.
Briefing and de-brief usually take around 15 minutes each but can be extended upon request for more in-depth analysis of team performance.
The half day program takes up to 4 hours and the full day program up to 8 hours.
