Game show boards will be shown via projector for everyone to see. Making Teams will be your host and lead you all through a day of game show fun. Teams will compete against each other until only one team is left.
Challenges are all based on famous TV game shows that most people will be familiar with and the host will explain the particular rules for each round as they progress.
Wheel of Fortune: contestants solve word puzzles, similar to those used in Hangman, to win cash and prizes determined by spinning a giant carnival wheel.
Family Feuds: two ‘families’ (teams) compete to name the most popular responses to survey questions in order to win points and prizes.
The Price is Right: Contestants must bid closest to the price of a prize without going over, if correct they have the chance to win more points.
The Weakest Link: The team are asked a series of questions in turn. At the end of each round the player must be eliminated from the team until only two remain.
Who wants to be a millionaire: A quiz competition where contestants have to correctly answer a series of multiple-choice questions in order to advance to the next level / question and win the ultimate prize for the day.
The location for the event is usually at the client’s hotel or own office space.
After each game scoring is given to each team and the sub-total is announced until the last game. Final scoring is done during the event debrief and the team with the most points is the winner.
Insurance and instructor supervision are important safety factors with any event, and in the event of an emergency, transport and medical backup will be standing by.
The event briefing and debrief takes place at the activity location. The group is separated into teams and introduced to their facilitators, then the lead facilitator gives an introduction of the event including (safety) instructions and objectives for the activity.
During the debrief, the facilitator discusses the event challenges and asks each team questions to assess their performance before announcing the winning team (if applicable).
Briefing and debrief usually take around 15 minutes each but can be extended for more in-depth analysis of team performance.
